Augustovich Vladimir Stenberg was born in Moscow on 4 April 1899. The following year his brother was born Augustovich Georgii Stenberg, 20 October, in the same city. Stenberg will be the founding members of the Union of Soviet Artists in Moscow. And 1933 marks the end of the "tandem" Stenberg. Grigorii died in October in Moscow in a motorcycle accident. Vladimir changes his Swedish citizenship by the Soviet and started collaborating with Lydia Herman. Her career evolves, so far, smooth: he was appointed chief designer at Moscow's Red Square, creating a new ventilation system for Railway Construction Headquarters and a train of high speed diesel and continues its activity as a decorator -they say that Grigorii was "the most artist" of the two. In 1945 a new family member joins the team: Sten, the son of Vladimir. Vladimir was arrested in 1952 during the Great Purge and rebuilt the following year, after the death of Stalin.
